VF.     DAY BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF WORLD WAR II: Airmail cover dispatched in Kobenhavn on 31/AU/1939 by German DLH franked with 3.05Kr., on back arrival mark of 18/OC. WWII began on September 1, and possibly during that day the cover was in transit in Germany, so it got very delayed and instead of taking the usual time of 5-7 days, it arrived a month and a half later!
