516 FALKLAND ISLANDS (MALVINAS) - POSTAL HISTORY
Auction #1946: WORLDWIDE POSTAL HISTORY, COVERS AND CARDS
Cover /      Cat.#:
VF.     FALKLANDS WAR: 11P. Aerogram sent on 26/AP/1982 by an Argentine soldier on the islands to his mother in Buenos Aires, with long and interesting text saying that everything was calm, and asking her: "Do not worry much about the fighting on the Georgias because here there are no rare measures yet, everything is still calm and we will continue like this until the fleet lands..., which is difficult but not impossible. Here there is much optimism and a carefree attitute about the combat by the officers, who must be like that for some reason..." It shows the evident lack of professionalism of the Argentine commanders who took the war lightly. Excellent quality!
