VF.     6/DE/1798 Lima - Santiago de Chile, old entire letter with very interesting text about a problem in a relay station in what is today Argentina: "Juan Heredia, relay master of the station called EL TAMBO... in Córdoba jurisdiction, sent a complaint letter on 21st of last month, that Captain Juan Bautista Lopez who lives in Concepción del Río Cuarto has taken his postilion Tomás Bruno, whom he trusted, in order to make him a corporal in the troops under his command..." On back there is a note dated Buenos Aires 15/JA/1799 accepting the request and ordering that the postilion returned to the station, excellent quality, rare due to its old age and content!
