VF.     ENGLISH MAIL: Entire letter sent from Buenos Aires to Bordeaux (France) on 25/DE/1860, "by English steamship". It was carried on the ships: Mersey (saied from B.Aires to Montevideo on 29/DE), H.M.S. Buzzard (from Montevideo to Río de Janeiro on 31/DE) and H.M.S. Tyne to Southampton (6/FE/1861). Steamship Tyne was delayed for 36 hours in Rio de Janeiro due to a delay of the Buzzard with the mail from Río de la Plata, which had been received from steamship Mersey, due to problems in her machinery.
