VF.     PLANE CRASH: Cover sent to Buenos Aires by airplane Dornier Tapajoz, which crashed on 3/MAY/1934 while it landed in Rio de Janeiro, when it crashed against steamer Westphalen and sank. Two members of the crew died, and the mail was recovered, although very damaged (very wet). The cover has evident signs of the accident, and on back an official seal of the Argentine Mail, rare!
