VF.     MAVEROFF, José Otto: Officer of the corvette ARA Uruguay, which rescued the Swedish Antarctic Expedition led by Nordenskiöld in 1903, 2 postcards with spectactacular views of Magallanes (now Punta Arenas, Chile), mailed in Buenos Aires by Maveroff to himself franked with 5c. Both cards were edited by Roberto Mulach, with views of: "Spray Boston in the Strait of Magellan" and "Dungenes lighthouse", with signed autograph of Maneroff, and one card with interesting inscription: "C´est pres que fini! Hurrah!", very interesting!
