Fine     Entire letter dated GUALEGUAYCHÚ 3/NO/1861 and sent to Lugano (Switzerland) with transit marks of MONTEVIDEO (Uruguay) for 10/NO (oval) and 17/NO (octagonal), on back transit mark of Luzern and Lugano arrival mark of 24/DE, very interesting! It is very possible that there was some stagecoach mail service that carried letters directly from Gualeguaychú and other Argentine cities in the border with Uruguay to Montevideo, and from there they were shipped to their destination overseas!
